A Classy Rocker with High-performance Specs

A scorching rock 'n’ roll axe with a sophisticated look, the Ibanez Premium AZ47P1QM electric guitar is engineered from top to bottom to provide you with an instrument dripping in style and filled with sonic thunder. The AZ47P1QM features a contoured American basswood body capped in a gobsmackingly gorgeous quilted maple top. A roasted maple neck greets your hand with Ibanez’s ultra-comfortable AZ oval “C” profile, and an inky black ebony fingerboard, populated with 24 stainless steel frets, accommodates everything from cowboy chords to flurried leads. The AZ47P1QM owes its formidable voice to a trio of Dimarzio pickups in a ripping HSH configuration. A premium hardware package, including a Gotoh T1502 synchronized tremolo and MT-G locking machine heads, put the finishing touches on an electric guitar that’s equal parts class and bombast! 

S-Tech wood roasted maple neck offers stability and durability

Ibanez enhanced the AZ47P1QM’s roasted maple neck with their S-Tech wood nitrogen-heating treatment, which increases its stability, durability, water resistance, and tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is then sealed with oil, resulting in a well-played feel. And it’s supremely comfortable — its fingerboard edge was finished with a smooth curve that extends through the border between the fingerboard and the neck to the fingerboard itself. Beyond that, this guitar’s AZ oval "C"-shaped neck fills your hand nicely at the lower frets while providing a more modern feel when playing up high. 

Three DiMarzio pickups cover an expansive sonic range

There's no denying the massive range of tone you can get out of an HSH configuration, and with the Ibanez Premium AZ47P1QM 's combo of DiMarzio pickups, you're in a new league altogether. First, there's the DiMarzio Tone Zone at the bridge, a hot humbucker with a super-wide dynamic range. It's a perfect complement to the AZ47P1QM's DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck, which is deep, warm, and remarkably clean. And smack in the middle, you've got a DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil that's bright and sweet all the way up the neck — perfect for soloing. The guitarists here at Irvine Art & Music love this ultra-flexible pickup combination. 

Performance-enhancing premium hardware delivers an exceptional playing experience

Developed in collaboration with Gotoh, the AZ47P1QM’s T1502 tremolo bridge features machined steel saddles and a die-cast zinc tremolo block, ensuring quick response and amazing articulation. Loading the guitar’s tremolo arm is a breeze by virtue of the T1502’s snap-and-hold socket, and its arm torque adjuster allows for fine adjustments without any tools. Paired with Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads and a Graph Tech nut, the T1502 delivers rock-solid intonation and smooth tremolo action. On top of that, the AZ47P1QM sports 24 stainless steel frets, which offer a crisp sound and enhanced durability.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be returned in the condition they were received, including all accessories, documentation, and packaging materials. Remember that if your order was shipped for free under our free shipping promo, the cost of outbound shipping will be deducted from your return credit. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase to finalize a return.

Items approved for return may be subject to return shipping costs. Shipping costs will be deducted from the refund balance. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have 5 days to report any defects, wrong order, or damage to the shipped order.

  • Books, Tubes, Stylus Needles, Harmonicas, Ear Worn Items, Wood or Plastic Recorders, Mouthpieces, Opened Strings, Reeds or Fog Fluid.
  • Special and Custom Order merchandise (items that are not shown on irvineartandmusic.com or regularly stocked by Irvine Art and Music) may be paid in full on order and cannot be cancelled unless cancellable at the manufacturer and cannot be returned unless defective
  • We reserve the right to deny return privileges to abusers of our policy, including those making excessive returns or returning abused and altered items.

We will gladly special order your item should we not have it as a regularly stocked product, subject to the following policies.

  • All special orders are subject to at least a minimum of a 25% Deposit at the time of order. 
  • NO RETURNS will be accepted on special order or non-stock merchandise.
  • Special order items and deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Special orders CANNOT BE CANCELLED once placed with our suppliers.
  • We are not responsible for production delays or other unforeseen circumstances that delay delivery of any special order.  We will provide an estimate of the lead time required for your item to come in to best of our ability, however we cannot guarantee a lead time in any case.
