Experience the AlphaTheta Euphonia 4-Channel Rotary Mixer at Irvine Art and Music

Historic Mixing Meets Cutting-edge Performance Power

Discover the AlphaTheta Euphonia 4-Channel Rotary Mixer at Irvine Art and Music. This mixer combines decades of hallmark design with modern technology, creating a 4-channel rotary mixer that inspires DJs with AlphaTheta's exceptional craftsmanship. Merging classic interfacing with state-of-the-art 32-bit A/D and D/A converters, next-gen rotary faders, and a transformer circuit co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs, the Euphonia ensures your mixes have a detailed veneer of shimmering harmonics and an energetic polish. Its per-channel equalization suite, 3-band master-channel Isolator, and onboard effects, alongside multiple FX sends and multimode compatibility, make the Euphonia a versatile and powerful addition to any DJ setup.

Precision, Detail, and State-of-the-art Tactility

The AlphaTheta Euphonia bridges the iconic characteristics of analog output with the precision of the digital domain, thanks to its 32-bit A/D and D/A converters and 96kHz/64-bit floating-point DSP. The custom-developed knobs, coated in elastomer, provide maximum comfort and grip, eliminating vibration for reliable, detailed control. These knobs also feature a dynamic architecture, allowing for ultra-fine resolution during slow rotations and precise, fast movements during performances.

Dynamic One-handed FX and Innovative Isolator Design

Euphonia’s master Isolator design provides precise, creatively flexible 3-band control over your master output, offering an additional dimension of mixing possibilities. The suite of five onboard spatialization effects — delay, tape echo, echo verb, reverb, and shimmer — is complemented by a highpass filter and external Send FX options. The Isolator’s “Send” button allows you to apply effects to each band individually, with up to 12 decibels of boost for stable levels throughout your transitions. This one-handed control system facilitates inventive mixing across Euphonia’s 4-channel array.

Comprehensive Interfacing to Play Your Way

AlphaTheta’s Euphonia comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of controls for complete coherence with your sonic vision. Each channel includes a Trim control, level meter, 3-band EQ, Cue designation, and Send knob, alongside a 4-point input selector to mix Phono, Line, Digital, or computer sound sources. Additional features include a dedicated 2-band EQ and Level knob for Booth output and a selectable split-cue headphone output for mono playback in each ear. Euphonia’s vivid display provides real-time feedback with conventional VU-meter readings and a spectral analyzer for granular sound behavior analysis.

Complete Connectivity with rekordbox, Serato, and More

The Euphonia’s onboard 32-bit A/D and D/A converters and 96kHz/64-bit floating-point DSP ensure that every nuance of your tracks is preserved. DJs of any style can utilize Euphonia’s sound-shaping tools. Each channel has Phono and Line input pairs, four digital inputs, two signal ground contacts, and a USB-C port for laptop connectivity and onboard support for rekordbox and Serato. The mixer also features XLR, TRS, and RCA terminals for Master, Booth, and Recording outputs, and Send FX- and Master Insert-pairs for external audio processing.

From Studio 54 to Contemporary Hi-Fi

During the disco era of the 1970s, rotary mixers were the first commercial club mixers to emerge, prized for their detailed control and hi-fi audio preservation. Despite the end of disco’s reign, the technological advancements of the 1980s revolutionized music production and DJing. Today, rotary mixers have resurged in popularity, lauded for their hi-fi architecture, creative potential of the Isolator circuit, and high-resolution control. The AlphaTheta Euphonia proudly continues this legacy, delivering historic mixing technology for today’s DJs and turntablists.
