Irvine Art & Music is proud to offer up a selection of this incredibly limited run of StingRay HTs that come with all the premium internal and external goodies you could ask for. This StingRay 6-string features an upgraded heat-treated humbucker (HT) with gain boost I the bridge position for a stronger, fuller sound that you absolutely need to hear for yourself! Equipped with stellar hardware like Schaller locking tuners and a Tune-O-Matic HT bridge, this Ball Family Reserve beauty has your back for every show and session. It’s a real performer that aches for the spotlight, so don’t miss out on your chance to rock your very own limited run BFR StingRay HT!

Toned, trimmed, and dressed for success

For the body, the StingRay HT features alder for a fantastic tonal balance and impressive lightweight feel that’s made for long performances. A 5-bolt sculpted joint bridges the maple neck and handsome ebony fingerboard to the body, showcasing 22 high-profile stainless-steel frets marked by white pearloid atlante blocks and trimmed in pearloid binding all the way up to the body-matching headstock. Coated in a high gloss polyester finish, you’ll find this axe to be much less phased by common scratches and dings — perfect for the road!

Special heat-treated pickup

This guitar gets the “HT” in its name from Ernie Ball’s ingenious heat-treated engineering. Heat treatment increases the output of the pickup while simultaneously improving the pickup’s dynamic range. What that means for your sound is a stronger low end with greater frequency response, resulting in a fuller, rounded out, and more present tone. This technological chase for an increase in responsiveness is inspired by the same process used in Ernie Ball’s Slinky string development, so you can rest easy knowing that your StingRay setup is meant for true compatibility with your strings.

Inside the Ball Family Reserve

There are many Ernie Ball Music Man guitars out there, but only a select few get to call themselves part of the Ball Family Reserve. What is BFR? This is a limited collection of super high-quality produced guitars and basses that celebrate the journey of the Ball family and their dedication to the craft. Featuring incredible tonewood pairings, deluxe finishes, and character packed into every ounce, BFR instruments are publicly released instruments of a build quality usually only reserved for signature artists and members of the Ball family themselves.
